Congratulations to Mark Vance and Jerrod Carpenter both of Ardmore, OK on their first place finish and the $1,500.00 payday! They also cashed in with big bass of the day with a very nice smallmouth weighing 4.62 pounds and earning another $115.00. These anglers were fishing soft plastics around the south end of Lake Murray.
Second place went to the team of Tom Hughes and Mike Kirby of Noble, OK. These guys are regulars on the Backyard Bassin Team Tournament Trail and consistently place in the money. Their solid sack of five keepers weighed in at 9.48 pounds earning them a check for $620.00.
The third place team of Kevin Ellis and Dennis Reed was also a local team from Ardmore, OK. They brought another nice five fish limit in to the scales weighing a respectable 8.29 pounds and earning them $300.00.
Fourth Place went to Brad Hill of Ardmore, OK and Wade Talifero of Marietta, OK. This southern OK based team brought their five fish limit to the scales weighing in at 8.25 pounds. They earned $140.00 for the day.
