Lake Texoma Results

Stop #4 of the Tracker Marine Bass Circuit brought 40 teams to Lake Texoma Saturday June 16th. With the weather pattern changing daily and the lake on a steady rise, most anglers were not sure what to expect at the Catfish Bay Marina launch early Saturday morning. Fifteen teams did manage to catch a five fish limit at the end of the day.

Coming out on top with a five fish limit weighing in at 12.22 pounds was the team of Gus Duncan from Lone Grove, OK and Shawn Mote of Ardmore, OK. These two anglers caught most of their fish while swimming jigs around boat docks in the marinas. They also had big bass of the day with a solid 5.12 pound black bass. Their big bass and first place finish earned them $2,400.00 for the day. Congratulations guys!

Second place went to the team of Red Rutherford from Durant, OK and Joe Copeland from Roff, OK. This team is always around the top of the leader board when fishing Texoma waters. Their five fish limit pushed the scales to 11.95 pounds and earned them $1,000.00.

Third place went to the consistent team of Tom Hughes and Mike Kirby both from Noble, OK. These guys always stay around the top of the leader board and maintain a strong standing on the Angler of the year rankings. They also brought in a five fish limit moving the scales to 10.92 pounds, and earning them $500.00 for their hard work.

The next stop for the Tracker Marine Bass Circuit will be July 14th at Three Forks on The River. We hope to see everyone there.
