Lake Eufaula Results
April 26th 2008
Backyard Bassin Team Tournament Trails held their second event of the 2008 Spring/Summer trail on Lake Eufaula Saturday April 26th. With the lake standing at eight feet over normal level, and very muddy water conditions, no one knew how the fishing was going to be. It seemed like the fish did not want to cooperate this day as the number of fish weighed in was held down somewhat.
First place went to the team of Bob Carver and Leon Conkling of Shawnee, OK. This team brought in one of only three 5 fish limits for the day. Their fish pushed the scales to 13.73 pounds and earned them $2,500.00 for their day of fishing.
The father son team of Tim and Jim Reed from Roff, OK took home second place honors. The four fish they presented to the BYB stage totaled 11.69 pounds. This BuTi Rod sponsored fishing team took home $1,300.00 for the day.
David Miller of Ardmore, OK and Tim Reed of Marietta, OK rounded out the top three teams with a five fish limit weighing 11.56 pounds. This team sponsored by David Miller Overhead Door Co. won $800.00 at Lake Eufaula.
Big Bass went to Mat French from OKC, OK and Steve Hardeman of Moore, Ok. The 4.89 pound black bass they brought to the BYB stage earned them $520.00. Congratulations to all!

The next Tournament will be held May 10th on beautiful Lake Murray just south of Ardmore, OK. This promises to be a great event. Toyota of Ardmore is going to host the registration meeting Friday May 9th at their dealership on I-35. They will have food and fun for everyone. More details coming soon.....
