2008 Fall / Winter Trail
Lake Texoma #1
The BYB Fall / Winter trail held it's second stop of the season on a very windy Lake Texoma Sunday November 30th. With wind gust up to 50 mph Lake Texoma was rolling with huge swells. BYB allows trailering at all of the Fall / Winter Trail stops and it most certainly helped many of the anglers at this event. Several teams reported getting "a little wet", but there were no bad reports turned in at weigh in. Good Job ladies and gentleman!
First place went to Bill Glasscock and Ryan Lovelace. Both of these gentleman always fish well on Lake Texoma and they proved it again Sunday with a 14.15 pound five fish limit anchored by a 5.15 pound big bass. Their team effort earned them $1,430.00 for the day. Congratulations.
Jason Adair and Derek Rowsey took home second place honors at Texoma. They only managed to bring four fish the the BYB weigh trailer, but the 13.06 weight anchored by a 4.26 pound bass earned them $600.00
Third Place went to Billy Prater. Billy fished by himself at this event and brought in a five fish limit that pushed the scales to 12.40 pounds. Billy took home $350.00 for the tournament.
All of the anglers were treated to home made chili and cold drinks during the weigh in. Our next stop will be December 14th on Arbuckle Lake. The times have all been adjusted one hour. Registration will begin at 5:00 am Sunday morning with boat launch at 6:00 am and first cast starting at 7:00 am. All teams must pick up their weigh in slips before 3:00 pm.
