2008 Fall / Winter Trail
TOURNAMENT TRAIL CHAMPIONSHIP
Sixteen teams showed up at Arbuckle Lake Sunday January 25th for the BYB fall/winter team trail championship. after a cold start the weather turned out very nice for some big fish to be weighed in.
J D kent and roy hartman took first place honors with a five fish limit weighing in at 21.77 pounds. The limit was anchored by a very nice 9.30 pound black bass. they said all of their fish came on backyard bassin jigs and jerkbaits. the team took home $1,100.00 for the championship. congratulations!
second place went to wayne brown and larry wood. these guys only brought three fish to the scales, but their total weight of 17.41 HAD two KICKER fish over 8 pounds. their big bass weighed in at 9.43 pounds. This southern oklahoma team earned $600.00 for the championship.
marco vacca and gene eisenman took third place honors with their five fish limit weighing in at 17.16 pounds. they took home $150.00 for the championship.
big bass honors went to rodney richards jr. rodney brought the new BYB tournament record big bass weighing an impressive 11.04 pounds.
we would like to thank everyone for coming out this year and hope to see everyone march 1st for the BYb spring/summer trail kickoff.
