TMBC LAKE EUFAULA RESULTS

MAY 5th 2007

Tour stop # 3 of the Tracker Marine Bass Circuit took place on Saturday May 5th 2007 on Lake Eufaula. 49 teams came out of Eufaula Cove at safe light in search of big limits of bass. The weather cooperated for the Eufaula tournament with low cloud cover and moderate temperatures, but the winds varied all day making for some "fun" boat rides.

Once again some familiar names to the Backyard Bassin Team Trail showed up on top of the leader board. The father son team of Jason and Mark Pittman from Ardmore, OK showed why they are always tough on Oklahoma waters bringing in an 18.81 pound limit of bass with a solid 5.87 pound kicker fish. The Pittman's were fishing spinner baits in buck brush on windy points and banks. They caught their last four pounder of the day while sorting through a big school of sand bass with only 15 minutes until weigh in. Jason added that he did want to give a big thanks to his "net man"!

Second place went to the Angler of The Year leaders, George Coffman from Marlow, OK and George Taylor of Noble, OK. This team always seem to be around the top of the leader board. Their 17.03 pound limit of bass was anchored with a very nice 5.52 pound kicker fish.

Third place went Jeff Dugan and Wayne Taylor both from McAlester, OK. This team has also been very strong all season hanging around the top of the leader boards. Their 15.66 pound limit of fish was anchored by a 4.95 pound kicker fish.

Big Bass honors went to the team of Spears and Davis. They brought a very nice 6.12 pound black bass to the scales delighting the large crowd gathered for the weigh in.
